August 06, 2020

CRC Group announced, as part of their increased focus to expand binding capabilities in the Midwest, they have opened a new Indianapolis office and have made several strategic hires, while also considering M&A targets in the region.

Mark Maucere has been hired as Office President of the new CRC Indianapolis office and is responsible for leading the team and growing the CRC footprint in the territory. Mark joins CRC with over 25 years of MGA experience.

In May, Chris Janis joined the CRC Group team as Office President to lead and expand the CRC Binding operation in Chicago. Chris brings his experience growing profitable books of business and developing successful and productive teams to the territory.

Additional strategic Midwest hires expanding CRC capabilities in the property and casualty binding, garage, and transportation lines of business include, Aimee Stumler, Joni Denny, LaDonna Hansen, Mary Wilson, Tony Armor, Brandy Seale, Evan Falkowski, Cal Rogers, Thomas Tobolic, Greg Price, Kristy Galecka, Leon Hilaski, Kyle Bryson, and Steve Shepard.

“We recognized that the Midwest region was an area of the country where there was an opportunity to invest in growing our capabilities,” said Dave Obenauer, CRC Group CEO. “We are excited about the talent that has recently joined the team and we will continue to expand our CRC Binding capabilities in the region over the next 12 months with continued investments in hiring, exploring acquisition opportunities, and continuing to build out our REDY platform, which leverages our data to make placing binding business faster and more efficient for our clients.”
