(June 16, 2026) – CRC Group, a leading wholesale specialty insurance distributor, today announced Bethany Greenwood has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Underwriting Division.
Greenwood brings more than 25 years of specialty insurance leadership experience spanning brokerage, underwriting, and executive management. Throughout her career, she has developed deep knowledge of specialty lines, leading high-performing teams and driving growth across complex insurance organizations.
Most recently based in London and relocating to the U.S., Greenwood has held a series of senior leadership positions, including Head of Specialty Risks for a global specialty insurance and reinsurance firm. In these roles, she has focused on expanding specialty product offerings, driving innovation, strengthening trading partner relationships, and delivering profitable growth across a diversified portfolio.
Greenwood’s appointment comes during a period of significant growth and investment in CRC Group's underwriting platform. Over the past several years, the organization has strategically expanded its capabilities through a series of acquisitions and investments, broadening its product offerings, geographic reach, and market presence.
Today, the underwriting division includes Starwind Specialty, AmRisc, Atrium, and Euclid Transactional, providing specialized solutions in offices across nine countries and in property, casualty, transactional liability, and other specialty lines. In this role, Greenwood will lead the continued development of these businesses while advancing CRC Group's long-term specialty underwriting strategy.
