CRC Group Names Bill Goldstein Head of Strategic Partnerships, Capacity and Capital Solutions

June 15, 2026

CRC Group, a leading wholesale specialty insurance distributor, has tapped Bill Goldstein to lead its newly created Risk Solutions Division. As Head of Strategic Partnerships, Capacity and Capital Solutions, he will manage the company's newest initiative to develop proprietary capacity, capital partnerships, and alternative risk vehicles that support clients, carrier partners, and CRC's growing specialty and underwriting platform.

Goldstein joined CRC Group in 2021, and under his leadership, CRC expanded its underwriting capabilities, strengthened its specialty knowledge, and enhanced its market presence. In his new role, Goldstein will lead the new division focused on the management of strategic capacity and capital across the organization, working closely with CRC's Specialty and Underwriting operations to identify opportunities that align distribution, underwriting expertise, and access to capital.

The creation of this business reflects CRC's continued investment in proprietary capacity and its belief that the traditional boundaries between distribution, underwriting, and capital are increasingly converging. As the specialty insurance market evolves, CRC Group sees a significant opportunity to more closely align these capabilities, creating innovative structures and solutions that enhance market access, expand capacity, and support long-term growth for CRC Group, clients, and carrier partners.

"Bill has been instrumental in advancing CRC's position as an industry leader in specialty insurance," said Dave Obenauer, Chief Executive Officer, CRC Group. "His vision, creativity, and deep understanding of the marketplace have helped shape many of our most innovative solutions. He will continue to lead the development of the next generation of proprietary capacity and alternative risk solutions, collaborating closely with clients and carrier partners to bring innovative strategies to market.”

Building on CRC's portfolio of sidecars, reciprocal structures, strategic carrier partnerships, and innovative capacity solutions, the new division will provide a centralized approach to coordinating and expanding these capabilities across the organization.

"CRC has consistently sought new ways to create value for clients and trading partners through innovation with capital and capacity," said Goldstein. "I am excited to lead this effort and build on the momentum we have established. By combining innovative structures, strong carrier relationships, and CRC's market capabilities, we have a tremendous opportunity to deliver differentiated solutions across the insurance marketplace."
