CRC Group, a leading wholesale specialty insurance distributor, announced that Christopher Lang recently joined the organization as Head of Carrier Management.
In this role, Lang will work closely with CRC Group’s leadership team to advance and execute the company’s carrier priorities. As Head of Carrier Management, based in New York, he will oversee associated strategies and relationship management, ensuring alignment with CRC’s distribution and growth priorities.
Lang brings extensive leadership experience in carrier strategy, placement, and digital trading from a global professional services firm. Most recently, he served in a senior executive role as Digital Leader for global placement. In addition to this role, he served as Placement Leader for the U.S. and Canada, driving regional placement strategy in close alignment with worldwide retail and wholesale placement operations.
Earlier in his career, Lang held senior leadership roles overseeing placement, specialties, and key trading partner relationships, as well as leading FINPRO-focused teams managing complex client and market relationships across management and professional liability lines. He began his career in underwriting management, building a strong foundation in carrier operations and risk evaluation.
