Andrea Ward is a Vice President and E&S Casualty Broker with CRC Group’s San Francisco, California office, where she helps retail clients find viable insurance options in the wholesale casualty marketplace. She specializes in peer-to-peer/app-based insureds, tough-to-place products, habitational, OL&T, life science, and construction.

Andrea earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business from Villanova University before beginning her insurance career as a Casualty Underwriter with Gen Re in Los Angeles in 2003. Later, in a move that would take her across the country, Andrea joined Guy Carpenter & Company as an Associate Broker in Philadelphia. 2008 brought her back to California to take on the role of Assistant Vice President and Excess Underwriter with First Mercury Insurance in Los Angeles. Continuing on her upward path of increasing responsibility, in 2010 Andrea became Director of Aon’s San Francisco office as a Casualty Reinsurance Broker, responsible for managing the West Coast. After 3 years in that role, she joined the CRC team where she has proven to be a valuable team member, passionate about connecting with and supporting her colleagues and clients. She truly believes it’s the people who make every day, and conquering each new challenge, worthwhile. Her commitment to providing the best service and greater value have earned Andrea recognition as a CRC High Flyer in 2016 and 2018.

Andrea lives in the San Francisco area where she enjoys volunteering with community organizations such as Rotary International. As the proud mom of two sweet boys, Andrew and Luke, you’ll also often find her spending quality time with family and friends.
