Emily Hardinge

Emily Hardinge joined the CRC team in October 2020 and serves as a Transportation Underwriter with CRC Group’s Shreveport, Louisiana office, where she’s responsible for collaborating with agents to build solutions that meet client needs.

Emily initially joined the insurance industry in 2005 as Mail Clerk with her grandfather’s agency before becoming a Customer Service Representative specializing in Auto and Homeowners Insurance with Maynard, Clark, & Teasley, Inc. After gaining almost 7 years of experience in that role, Emily transitioned to Specialty Risk Associates, Inc. to take on the role of Assistant Underwriter. Over time she advanced into the more challenging roles of Underwriter 1, and Renewal Underwriter, before becoming a Transportation Underwriter for new business. Committed to professional growth, Emily obtained her Louisiana P&C license in 2010, Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2014 followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2017.  She is currently working toward a Transportation Risk and Insurance Professional (TRIP) designation. Emily truly enjoys helping agents find risk solutions, and she looks forward to many more years in the industry.
