ABOUT

Wendy Mejia is the Office President of CRC Group’s Sacramento, California office where she leads a high-performing team responsible for servicing the Northern California area.

Wendy has earned a Bachelor of Science from UC Davis as well as a Master of Business Administration from California State University. Across more than 13 years in the insurance industry, she has also obtained Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) and Associate in Insurance (AINS) designations from The Institutes. Prior to joining the CRC team in March 2022, Wendy invested 10 years with Burns & Wilcox where she started as an Assistant Underwriter and was steadily promoted into more challenging roles before ending her tenure as the Associate Managing Director of the Sacramento office. Wendy was honored with a Distinguished Service Award and as Associate Managing Director, she was recognized as one of the Top 50 New Business Producers. Known for her keen analytical mind, positive outlook, and willingness to collaborate with others, Wendy loves tackling tough problems and helping clients place difficult risks.

Wendy, her husband Eric, and their two children, Natalia and Julian, make their home in the Sacramento area. Outside the office, you’ll often see them cheering the kids on during their soccer games, taking in a movie, or exploring a local museum.
