ABOUT MATT

Matthew Whitelaw is a Senior Vice President & Director of Management Liability with CRC Group’s San Francisco Financial Services Team.

Matthew has more than 25 years of industry experience and has been a key part of Team CRC since 2008. Prior to joining CRC Group, he served as a D&O Broker with Carpenter Moore Insurance Services and as a D&O Underwriter with Chubb. Known for strong product and market knowledge as well as the ability to get deals done, Matthew has made many lasting friendships along the way. He genuinely enjoys the process of solving complicated problems, learning about unique industries, and meeting new people as he works to help the SF Financial Services Team meet client needs.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from San Francisco State University. Outside the office, you’ll often find him mountain biking, enjoying a day of golf, or traveling with his wife, Amy.
