Ashley Schmidt serves as a Director for the Professional Executive Group with CRC. Ashley is passionate about bringing innovative, customized products in the areas of Privacy & Security Liability, Non-Profit/Private D&O, EPL, Allied Healthcare, Lawyers Professional Liability, A&E, and Contractors Professional Liability, all while keeping an eye on coverage details that can make or break customer partnerships.
Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Insurance and Risk Management from Olivet College and has demonstrated her deep commitment to the industry by earning her RPLU, AAI, and AIS designations. Before joining CRC Swett in 2007, Ashley gained valuable experience as an intern with the Miller-Schuring Agency, the John Hancock Financial Network, and as a NAPSLO intern with Nationwide Insurance. She is known as a collaborative partner, able to provide competitive quotes without applications, turn deals around quickly, and bring together the resources needed to provide top-quality service and coverage for every client. She enjoys meeting with clients and educating them about coverage options, ensuring that each receives a tailored product designed to meet their specific needs. Looking forward, Ashley wants to continue to build on her passion for the field by recruiting young talent and spreading awareness about opportunities in the industries. She currently invests in rising talent as a Mentor with the Spencer Foundation, where she helps guide outstanding college students at universities across the country.
Ashley and her husband Collin live in Minneapolis, Minnesota where Ashley serves as a University of Minnesota guest lecturer as well as a nation-wide continuing education provider for industry professionals and college students. She also serves as Secretary for the Twin Cities Insurance Club, is a member of the PLUS Foundation, and a Future PLUS Special Grant Writing Committee member
