Evie Corbett joined the CRC team in April 2022 as an Underwriting Team Leader with CRC Group’s Charlotte, North Carolina office where she collaborates with retail agents and underwriters to provide Commercial Property and Casualty underwriting and market placement.
While earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, and Insurance from East Carolina University, Evie interned with an insurance agency and served as an Assistant Risk Manager for a large welding company where she managed the company’s captive program activities, reviewed contracts, and ensured the company adhered to all compliance and safety guidelines. After graduation, Evie joined Burns & Wilcox as a Commercial Lines Underwriter in 2018. Evie holds both a North Carolina Property & Casualty and a Surplus Lines License and is working toward obtaining her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Known as an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented partner, Evie loves helping people and businesses protect what they value most.
Evie and her husband, Dan, and beloved Labrador, Gunner, make their home in North Carlina. Outside the office, Evie can be found out in the garden, working on her yoga practice, and finding fun ways to stay active. They also enjoy exploring the islands near their home, camping, travel, and visiting our national parks.
