Donna Baker joined the team in December 2019 as a Personal Liens Team Lead with the Tampa, Florida office where she strives to help clients find solutions for difficult to place risks in Florida's challenging market.
Donna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of South Florida before joining the insurance industry as a Senior Member Service Specialist with USAA. She obtained an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation while gaining more than 25 years of personal lines and health insurance experience across sales, customer service, underwriting, and management. Clients and colleagues count on her deep knowledge of underwriting practices and risk management expertise to help solve complex problems and achieve common goals for the good of the customer. Most recently, Donna ventured to the E&S side of the business, when she joined Burns & Wilcox as a Senior Personal Lines Underwriter in 2018.
Known as a highly knowledgeable and responsive partner, Donna is always willing to help the team grow and actively invests in others by serving as a mentor to industry newcomers. She's excited to work with the Tampa team to expand their business, build strong relationships, and help clients win by putting them first - every time.
Donna, her husband Robert, and children Sean and Megan, live in the Tampa area where they enjoy tailgating and supporting the University of Florida Gators.
