Kristy Galecka joined the CRC team in August 2020 as a Senior Team Leader with CRC Group’s Indianapolis, Indiana office where she’s responsible for establishing and cultivating strong relationships with agency partners by helping them find solutions for hard to place risks.

Kristy earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Ball State University before beginning her insurance career as a Transportation and Property & Casualty Technician with J.M. Wilson in 2012. Displaying a clear aptitude for the industry, Kristy worked her way up with J.M. Wilson to become a P&C Underwriter, and ultimately took on the role of Senior Underwriter and Garage Specialist in 2016. Kristy appreciates working in an industry filled with amazing people and learning something new with each unique risk she encounters. Kristy truly believes that team success is just as important as achieving individual goals, and strives to encourage and support her teammates every day. Looking ahead, she plans to keep growing in expertise by earning a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Kristy, her wife Kayla, and four beloved dogs, live in the Kalamazoo, MI where you’ll often find them spending time in the pool or playing with the dogs. Kristy also appreciates a day on the golf course and caring for her succulent garden. As a former Division 1 softball player with Ball State, Kristy can also be found on the field, giving back to her local community by helping coach girls softball.
