Kurtis Gautz

Kurtis Gautz joined the CRC team in April 2021 as a Team Leader with CRC Group’s Minneapolis, Minnesota office where he specializes in finding creative placements for Transportation business. 

Kurtis earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Michigan University before joining the JM Wilson Corporation as an Executive Transportation Underwriter. During his tenure with JM Wilson, Kurtis gained 10 years of valuable underwriting experience and obtained a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Known for working with a sense of urgency and providing excellent customer service, Kurtis truly loves helping agents write business that ultimately keeps truck drivers and others on the road to success.

While he’s proud of building a satisfying professional career and leading a strong team, Kurtis is most proud of being a dad to three beautiful children. Kurtis and his family call the Columbus, Ohio area home. Outside the office, keeping up with the kids and a long list of home DIY projects mean Kurtis is never bored, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
