Craig Anderson is an Underwriting Team Lead with CRC Group’s Tampa-Bayport, FL office where he focuses on wholesale marine business. Craig holds a CPIA designation and specializes in recreational marine, high valued PCG yachts, and mega- and super-yachts, all with up to world-wide navigation and coverage.
Prior to joining Team CRC in June 2024, Craig served as a wholesale yacht and marine underwriter with an independent wholesale insurance brokerage and underwriting manager. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Craig forges strong and lasting relationships with both retail agents and brokers, serving as a trusted informational resource to assist them in their success. Known for attention to detail, deep knowledge of the marine insurance industry, and diligence, Craig has established himself in the marine insurance industry as an ethical professional and specialist.
Craig is proud of his long, successful insurance career, but he’s most proud of raising his sweet daughter, Madeline Anderson as a single dad. Watching her grow up and become a wonderful person is his life’s greatest joy.
Beyond the world of insurance, Craig gives back by volunteering as the Event Coordinator with the Abandoned Pet Rescue in Fort Lauderdale, the largest no-kill shelter that takes in dogs and cats. He also works part-time for a local gun range in Davie, FL as a certified Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer. As a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) member with the Town of Davie Fire Rescue, Craig is also trained as a First Responder and Disaster Coordinator. He is also working toward FCC and FAA licenses to further assist Davie Fire Rescue in disaster recovery and assistance.
