Joyce Carlton is an Underwriting Team Leader with CRC Group’s Tampa, FL (Bayport) office where she specializes in high value difficult-to-place personal risks.
Joyce has more than 8 years of industry experience, with 3.5 years of experience in the wholesale space. Prior to joining Team CRC in June 2024, she worked as an Underwriter with Burns & Wilcox. Known for efficiency, responsiveness, and a willingness to jump in and help, clients have peace of mind knowing that if they pick up the phone to call, Joyce will answer -ready to find a solution. She loves providing a solution to a difficult risk and finds it very rewarding to be able to offer a yes in a world of no’s, whenever possible.
Joyce holds a BA in International Studies from the University of South Florida as well as an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Saint Leo University.
Beyond the world of insurance, Joyce enjoys running, amateur photography, and volunteering with animals or hospice through the humane society or Lifepath. Joyce and her beloved goldendoodle, Nova, call the greater Tampa area home.
