Steve VonDrasek

Steve started his insurance career in 2003, working summers as an assistant underwriter for Constitutional Casualty Company. In college, he worked as a claims adjuster at Stonegate Insurance Company. After graduating from the University of Dayton in 2011, he moved from his hometown of South Barrington, Illinois, to Chicago, and began working for a local retail agency. He created a successful program that led to an opportunity with Pioneer Special Risk, an MGA based in Santa Monica, California. After two years at Pioneer, he was recruited by Burns & Wilcox, and joined as a broker in January 2016. At Burns & Wilcox, Steve headed the team as Sales Manager and successfully led the company’s expansion to Downtown Los Angeles.  Steve joined CRC as Team Leader in February, 2023, where he is responsible for managing a growing a book of business in both contract and brokerage markets, focused in casualty, construction, manufacturing and hospitality.
