Ty Webre joined the CRC team in November 2019 as an Associate Team Leader with the Houston, Texas office where he’s responsible for rating renewal policies while underwriting new business and marketing toward prospective agents.

Ty earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Mississippi before beginning his insurance career as an agent with Creekside Risk Management in 2016. He obtained a Property & Casualty License and worked in the personal lines arena while also handling surety bonds, CGL, Worker’s Compensation, and Commercial Auto policies. Throughout the sales process, Ty focused on building strong customer relationships and developed an extensive network of connections with mortgage brokers, financial advisors, and real estate agents. In 2018, Ty made the move to Burns & Wilcox to take on the role of Assistant Underwriter before becoming an Associate Broker in early 2019. While with Burns & Wilcox, Ty gained experience working with commercial lines including Property, Liability, E&S, and Inland Marine. 

He has no regrets when looking back on his decision to jump into the insurance industry and truly enjoys nurturing strong team relationships as they work together to build partnerships with agents and carriers. Ty’s team appreciates his tireless work ethic, ability to overcome challenges, and willingness to think outside the box to solve problems for the benefit of clients. Looking forward, Ty plans to continue honing his underwriting skills with the goal of managing his own book of business in the future. 

Ty lives in the Houston area where he enjoys spending time outdoors and competing locally as part of the regional U.S. Tennis Association. Ty gives back to his community by volunteering with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. He’s also proud of finishing the BP MS-150, a 150-mile bike ride from Houston to Austin benefitting those affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
