Mark Carter joined the CRC team in December 2019 as Senior Team Leader with the Little Rock, Arkansas office where he's responsible for underwriting and continuing to cultivate long term relationships with agents while bringing in new business and providing top notch customer service.

Mark has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas as well as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. He also hold a Surplus Lines License. Prior to joining CRC, Mark spent 23 years with Burns & Wilcox where he served as a Managing Director and Associate Vice President, specializing in Commercial Lines business. Mark is known for his sense of urgency and ability to work with anyone to reach a common goal. Over the years, his commitment to excellence has earned Mark multiple awards from the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents as well as recognition as Underwriter of the Year. Mark truly enjoys helping agents find specialized solutions that meet client needs and has built a solid career in the industry on a foundation of thriving agent relationships.

Mark, his wife Michele, daughters Megan and Hailey, and 4 beloved rescue dogs make their home in the Little Rock area. Outside the office, you'll often find Mark enjoying outdoor sports including running, backpacking, rock climbing, and biking. Mountaineering and rock climbing have allowed Mark to enjoy many unique places and views he would never have seen otherwise, and he looks forward to the view when he makes his first climb above 20,000 ft.
