John Rector joined the CRC team in June 2020 as a Property Broker with CRC Group’s Charlotte, North Carolina office where he’s responsible for handling larger/middle market property accounts as well as builder’s risk and inland marine.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance as well as a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Appalachian State University before beginning his insurance career as an Associate Broker with All Risks, Ltd., in 2017. Committed to growing in expertise, John also went on to obtain an Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) designation. He’s truly passionate about helping clients by leveraging creative problem solving to place challenging risks. John takes great pride in providing top quality service to every agent and is known for being highly available and responsive. He looks forward to continuing to build a successful team in Charlotte by partnering with local agents to provide excellent service and strong expertise across all lines of business.

John lives in the Charlotte area and outside the office you’ll often find him fishing or enjoying time at the beach. He’s also an avid sports fan, and never fails to cheer on the Atlanta Braves.
