Karen Jacobson

Karen Jacobson joined the CRC team in September 2020 as a Broker with CRC Group's Houston, Texas office. She specializes in medical malpractice placements. Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience to CRC. Before joining our team, she was a Broker with RT Specialty, where she focused on brokerage needs, including private equity business. An avid learner committed to professional excellence, she took the initiative to earn the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Energy Risk and Insurance Specialist (ERIS), and Transportation Risk and Insurance Professional (TRIP) designations. Previously, Karen was a Vice President at Insurance Office of America. She invested 13 years on the retail side of the business, concentrating on healthcare accounts. With a focus on medical malpractice insurance, she placed medical professional liability insurance, as well as all other lines of insurance coverage for healthcare entities.
