Lori Wheeler is an Inside Broker with CRC Group’s Dallas ExecPro team where she strives to place a diverse range of professional lines business including D&O Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime Coverage, Kidnap & Ransom, Cyber Liability, Errors & Omissions Liability, and Transactional Risk.
Prior to joining Team CRC in June 2021, Lori served as a Retail Broker specializing in professional lines business with Johnson & Higgins, JLT, Wortham Insurance, and Marsh/Wortham. She also worked as a Regional Underwriting Manager with AIG, Kemper, Ace. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Lori has earned a stellar reputation for technical expertise, tenacity, diligence, and working hard to obtain the best possible coverage for each client. Her dedication to excellence in the industry earned Lori recognition as a 2018 Elite Women in Insurance as well as a 2018 Power Broker for Nonprofits.
She genuinely enjoys seeing those she has mentored over the years become successful insurance professionals and continues to serve as a speaker for CRC’s ExecPro University, providing educational training sessions regarding various coverages for the company’s ExecPro team members. Lori also participates as a guest speaker with the University of Houston’s Bauer Business School.
In addition, Lori gives back as Executive Director for The Bridge Transcends’ southern chapter representing Georgia and Texas. The Bridge Transcends is an inclusive networking organization that supports the development of female talent in the financial lines insurance industry.
Lori holds a BBA from Baylor University’s Hankamer Business School. She makes her home in the Houston, TX area where she enjoys spending time with family and spoiling two wonderful grandchildren.
