Brent Jenkins is an Assistant Vice President and Casualty Broker with CRC Group’s Dallas, Texas office where he focuses on General Liability, Hired and Non-owned Auto, and Umbrella Placements. Brent serves as an extension of his agents marketing team to obtain the best coverage and terms to protect their client assets. He also works with CRC Group’s leadership team to develop and implement strategic Diversity and Inclusion plans that support greater diversity in recruitment and hiring.
Brent earned a B.S. from Paul Quinn College before beginning his insurance career as a Broker with Marsh in 2001. During his tenure with Marsh, Brent went on to obtain an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University-Commerce as well as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. He is known for providing world-class customer service, he truly enjoys building dependable industry relationships, listening to clients, and providing solutions that fit unique needs. Committed to investing in others, Brent also worked to launch the Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) and has been very involved in its community impact made through educational programing, networking, community outreach, and scholarships. In addition to being a charter NAAIA member, Brent also volunteers as a teacher with local high schools through the IIABA InVEST Program.
His relentless pursuit of excellence has earned Brent the Paul Quinn College Young Alumnus Award and recognition by Insurance Business America for Leading the Change with CRC’s Diversity & Inclusion team. NAAIA DFW has also recognized Brent for his instrumental role in starting the chapter and serving as President. Looking ahead, Brent will keep learning, staying informed about new and exciting trends within the insurance industry as he mentors, makes space for, and supports the next generation of young professionals.
Brent, and his wife Catrina, call the Dallas area home. Outside the office, Brent enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, and cycling. You’ll also find him enjoying church fellowship, learning how to cook with his family through Zoom cooking classes, and volunteering at the food bank. He also remains active with the Paul Quinn College Alumni Association, NAAIA DFW and Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc.
