David Alferez is a highly accomplished Director in the Executive Professional Practice Group of CRC Group. With a wealth of experience spanning two decades, he joined CRC Group through the firm’s acquisition of Swett & Crawford, where he had worked since September 2003.
David has developed and in depth understanding of the consultation and placement of management and professional liability, including Directors & Officers (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, Crime, Kidnap & Ransom, Cyber & Data Privacy Liability and Errors & Omissions(E&O)/ Professional Liability, across various industry classes. These include Architects & Engineers (A&E), Real Estate, Healthcare, Financial Institutions, Technology, Insurance Agents and other miscellaneous classes.
At CRC’s ProElite team, David plays a key role in coordinating and collaborating with his team of experienced professionals who bring the necessary guidance, resources and support to deliver exceptional market access, risk analysis, coverage focus and services to retail insurance partners. By focusing on a team approach and drawing on a combined 125+ years of Wholesale Brokering experience between 9 Brokers, retail agents always have access to team members for immediate service and consultation.

Before assuming his current position, David Alferez gained invaluable experience in the industry while working at Burns & Wilcox. During his time there, David played a key role in the expansion of the Personal Lines Team. During his tenure at the company, David made significant contributions to the development and growth of the team, ultimately earning him the esteemed “Broker of the Year Award” on multiple occasions.
