Em Powers

Em Powers is an Associate Underwriter Team Lead at CRC Group’s Bothell, Washington, office, where she focuses on new business underwriting with binding authority. She joined CRC in October 2024 and has worked in the insurance industry since 2012, previously serving as an admitted lines underwriter at Capital Insurance Group. Em holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, broadcasting, and sociology from Cazenovia College and is licensed in property and casualty insurance in Nevada, North Carolina, and California.
Em is known for her responsiveness, quick witted enthusiasm, and commitment to going above and beyond for clients and colleagues. She’s passionate about delivering fast, effective insurance solutions and fostering open and transparent communication. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, true crime, poorly written dad jokes and quoting mean girls. She lives with her senior dog, Betty White, and two cats, Pippin and Winnie.
