Leading CRC’s largest professional lines brokerage team in Birmingham, Tyler plays a pivotal role within the CRC’s Healthcare Practice Group and Cyber Practice Group, where he guides strategy and implementation to support retail clients and carrier partners in an ever-evolving marketplace. Known for his leadership, Tyler’s team was named CRC’s 2021 Professional Brokerage Team of the Year. He also champions CRC’s Human & Social Services Practice Group, providing agents with cost-effective solutions in challenging market conditions. A recognized industry specialist, he has twice been named “Top Specialist Broker” by Insurance Business America (2018 in Cyber and 2025 in Healthcare). Tyler holds a Certificate of Medical Liability as well as multiple certifications, including RPLU, ExecPLP, and CPLP from the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS).
In addition to his professional contributions, Tyler is a dedicated community leader. He served as Board Chair of the Year for the Alabama Area Council of Boys & Girls Clubs in 2023 and was recognized by *About Town Magazine* as a 2022 "Trail Blazer" for his volunteer work. He leads the Insurance Team for the United Way of Central Alabama’s 2024 Annual Campaign and served as Corporate Co-Chair for the Alabama Symphony Ball in 2023, continuing his involvement on the 2024 Corporate Committee. Tyler is also an Elder in his church, coaches youth basketball and lacrosse, and is a licensed foster parent with his family, providing respite care for newborns.
