Sam Gardner is the Office President responsible for overseeing CRC's Jackson, Mississippi office, where he partners with a talented team to assist established clients, market new business, and service existing accounts.
Sam's insurance career began in 1976 as an Independent Claims Adjuster. This initial role evolved over time into a career in an industry he's proud to be a part of. Across his tenure, Sam has amassed deep knowledge of different aspects of the business by taking on new challenges as a Personal Lines Underwriter, Commercial Lines Underwriter, and an E&S Broker. He joined Southern Cross Underwriters (SCU) as an owner in 1986 and continued to challenge himself, earning his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1991. Sam later became a part of the CRC team when SCU merged with CRC in 2003. He truly enjoys collaborating with and empowering his team to set and reach big goals. Sam's team members know they can count on his tireless work ethic, wealth of expertise, and broad range of experience to provide guidance and help resolve complex issues in in the best interest of the customer.
Sam is proud of investing over 30 years building a solid career in insurance and looks forward to helping the Jackson office grow in the years ahead. Outside the office, he's most proud of raising 2 children, who've grown into kind adults. Sam lives in the Jackson, Mississippi area and in his free time you'll often find him spending time with his grandchildren or enjoying the outdoors through hunting or fishing.
