Sherry Lowry is a Commercial Lines Broker with CRC Group’s Metairie, Louisiana office, where she’s responsible for working with retail agents to secure the best possible coverage for each client’s unique needs.  She specializes in professional liability risks as well as commercial property, inland marine, general liability, umbrella, directors’ and officers’ liability, HNOA, and environmental placements. No account is too small or too large as the goal is to service almost all of the agent’s coverage needs. 

Sherry has invested 35 years in the insurance industry, earning Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) and Associate in Underwriting (AU) designations from the Insurance Institute of America as well as P&C and LH&A licenses. She began her insurance career as a Claims Clerk with St. Paul Insurance Company and diligently worked her way up to the position of Commercial Lines Underwriter. After making the transition to Gislbar, Inc., as a Professional Liability Underwriter in 1991, Sherry continued to advance into more challenging roles, taking on the position of Property & Casualty/Professional Liability Division Manager in 1995. She also gained valuable experience working for two local Independent agencies, requiring significant skill in efficiency implementation and commercial lines marketing. Just prior to joining Crump in 2004, Sherry served as a broker for USG.

Sherry is known for her ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues alike to ensure each client benefits from the deep expertise and diverse network of industry relationships CRC offers. Sherry worked tirelessly as part of a team tasked with creating sponsored association Professional Liability programs for several years and also served on the Louisiana State Bar Association Declination Committee, participating in negotiations regarding Professional Liability coverage for distressed law firms.

Sherry has lived in the Greater New Orleans area her whole life. Outside the office, she enjoys golf, bowling, her French bulldog, and celebrating her community, including riding in parades. Never taking the gift of family for granted, Sherry also makes sure to spend time with family, especially her dad, a WWII Navy veteran who served his country with pride on the beaches of Omaha in Normandy.
