Nick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University in 1995 and has since gained over 20 years' experience in the insurance industry. As a lifelong student and avid learned committed to growing in knowledge and expertise, Nick also earned an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation as well as Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations. Before joining CRC in 2011, Nick worked as a Senior Property and Casualty Broker with London American Risk Specialists, where he assisted clients in obtaining the best possible coverage for energy, environmental, inland marine, or other professional liability needs. Prior to investing 7 years with London American, Nick served as Director of Insurance and Safety for Straus-Frank Enterprises / Carquest Auto Parts, where he was responsible for supervising the risk management department, developing insurance and safety programs, handling claims administration, and ensuring regulatory compliance. His diverse background affords Nick a unique perspective on the accounts he manages and enables him to collaborate with agents using risk management tools outside of insurance. As a highly responsive partner, Nick is appreciated for his ability to evaluate contracts, meet the requirements using a variety of markets/coverages, and assemble submissions that get results.
Nick, his wife Amy, and sons Hudson and Owen, live in the Dallas area. You'll often find Nick and Amy in the stands cheering the boys on in soccer, basketball and football or on the field coaching baseball. They are active in their local church, neighborhood HOA, and the Allen Indian Guides. They also enjoy volunteering in their local community.
