Lorena Maselek is an Account Executive with the CRC Public Sector & Education (PS&E) Team where she collaborates with agents and underwriters to service accounts.
Lorena initially joined the insurance industry as part of Aetna’s operations unit in 1979. During her tenure with Aetna, Lorena gained several years of valuable experience in accounting before eventually taking on the role of Underwriting Assistant. When her division was sold to Travelers, Lorena continued working as an Underwriting Assistant for the GL Specialty Unit. When the specialty book was sold to the W.R. Berkley Company and again to its subsidiary, Vela Insurance Services, Lorena continued to provide consistent specialty underwriting expertise through each transition.
After joining the CRC team in 2018, Lorena tackled the challenge of obtaining her producer license, ultimately achieving her goal in 2019. Known as a dedicated team-player, Lorena takes great pride in her work and doing everything she can to support her team’s continued success. She truly enjoys the different tasks and challenges each new day offers as she works to provide the best possible service to CRC’s clients.
Lorena and her husband, Chuck, make their home in the Connecticut area. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active and volunteering with the seniors in her community.
