Pierre LePage is a Broker on CRC Chicago’s Public Entity and Education (PS&E) team, where he specializes in placing insurance and reinsurance for complex, hard-to-place risks. With a career spanning over a decade in the (re)insurance industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge across underwriting, actuarial, claims, and finance disciplines. Pierre holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business and has earned multiple industry designations, including CPCU, RPLU, ARe, and ASLI.
Before joining CRC Group, Pierre worked in various underwriting roles with the Gen Re Group, spanning primary surplus lines P&C, facultative individual risk and program business, before transitioning to Aspen Re, where he focused on growing their casualty treaty specialty and professional lines portfolios. His commitment to multiline product knowledge, innovation and mentorship also extends to recruiting young talent into the industry.
Before entering insurance, Pierre was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 2010 MLB Player Draft and played professional baseball for three years, earning All-Star honors each season. He credits his athletic background for instilling the persistence and work ethic that drive his career today.
Outside of work, he is actively involved in his community, volunteering with Hartford’s Camp Courant and CT Foodshare. He also enjoys coaching youth sports, golfing, reading, and cooking for his family.
