Chris Stultz is an Inside Broker with the CRC Public Sector & Education (PS&E) Team where he supports the Public Sector and Education practice.
Chris joined the insurance industry in 2011, and for the first seven years of his career, he focused on multiline commercial underwriting and product management. Chris invested the next five years in portfolio underwriting as a specialty treaty underwriter and then as the Director of Underwriting for an MGA, managing a variety of specialty programs in both roles. He transitioned to join Team CRC in May 2023, bringing a strong understanding of P&C products, (re)insurance markets, and underwriting/product management to bear on retailer and market relationships.
Known for attention to detail, creative problem solving, and a thoughtful approach, Chris genuinely loves solving problems for people. Insurance is essential to enabling people, businesses, and society to operate, but it can be challenging to balance insured, underwriting, and risk management needs. Chris enjoys applying his experience and expertise to help achieve both.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Eckerd College, a Master of Science in Applied Business Analytics Management from Boston University, and a variety of professional designations, including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), and Associate in Underwriting – Management (AU-M) designations from The Institutes. Chris also earned Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) and Cyber Professional Liability Practitioner (CPLP) designations from the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
Chris, and his wife, Odali, make their home in the Stamford, CT area. Outside the office, Chris and Odali enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors exploring a new hiking or bike path. Chris also serves as Chair of the CPCU Society’s International Insurance Interest Group (3iG).
