Sarah Lewis is an Inside Broker with the CRC Public Sector & Education (PS&E) Team where she specializes in servicing accounts and inside marketing for the Public Entity team.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wellesley College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas. She initially joined the insurance industry as an Account Executive with Connecticut Underwriters in 2011. When her company was acquired by CRC Group in 2015, Sarah became part of the CRC New England office where she served as an Associate Underwriter until she transitioned to the Chicago Public Entity team in March 2022. Prior to her tenure with Connecticut Underwriters, Sarah worked for several municipalities including Johnson County, KS, City of Pompano Beach, FL, and Fairfax County, VA. Known for responsive service, efficiency, and the ability to cultivate strong customer relationships, Sarah loves collaborating with her team to tackle tough challenges and develop creative solutions that meet customer needs. While Sarah is truly proud of the work she does every day, she’s most proud of raising her daughter, Olivia.
Sarah makes her home in the Essex, Connecticut area. Outside the office you’ll often find her on a hike with her dogs, enjoying a run, or practicing yoga.
