Catalina is an Inside Broker with the CRC Public Sector & Education (PS&E) Team where she provides responsive account service and works to find the best possible insurance solutions for public entity clients.
Catalina initially joined the insurance industry as part of Brown & Brown’s internal audit team in 2006. With a tireless work ethic and willingness to keep learning, Catalina was eventually promoted to manager of the department before taking a new position with Mergers & Acquisitions. After 3 years in M&A, Catalina joined the Corporate Accounting Department where she was responsible for managing 12 offices. In 2014, she made the move to sales and joined CRC Group as an Inside Broker. Across her career journey, Catalina has worked hard to expand her expertise, earning Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU), and Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) certifications. Known as a persistent and reliable partner, team members and clients have learned that they can count on her persistence, attention to detail, and initiative to get the job done.
While Catalina is proud of building a thriving career, she’s most proud of being a mom to two of the sweetest kids anyone could hope for - Connor and Sophia. Catalina and her family call the Chicago area home. Outside the office, you’ll often find her volunteering with local animal rescue organizations, hiking, or playing with the family’s beloved dogs.
