ABOUT EMILY

Emily Marker joined CRC Group in August 2022 as an Inside Broker with the Chicago office where she collaborates with agents and underwriters to manage new and renewal property, inland marine, and stock throughput business.

Emily initially joined the insurance industry as a Technical Assistant with AmWins in 2005. A quick learner, she worked her way up through more challenging roles, ultimately becoming an Associate Property Broker in 2006. After 10 years with AmWins, Emily transitioned to Arlington/Roe as a Senior Property Broker. She continued to grow in expertise, earning promotion to the role of Vice President and Property Practice Leader in 2019. As a knowledgeable practice leader, she regularly consulted with brokers on accounts, led training, and partnered with the marketing team to provide marketplace trend information and analysis. Emily truly enjoys collaborating with retail agents to find the best possible solution for client needs. With deep product knowledge, a diligent work ethic, and clear understanding of carrier appetite, Emily is a valuable and trustworthy partner capable of meeting evolving needs as client exposures change.

Emily and her husband David call the Grand Rapids, Michigan area home. Outside the office, she enjoys running, hiking, boating, and traveling.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Our team has demonstrated double digit growth in the Property brokerage segment for the past 6 years. We pride ourselves in partnering with our agents to provide the insured with the best insurance solutions in the industry. We work closely with the insured and agent to tailor an insurance program that meets the clients' needs. We actively involve the insurance carriers in the renewal discussions with our clients to build solid long-term partnerships. We believe this is a much needed approach as the insurance market changes and many carriers exit certain industry segments.


Placing You First.


We take the time to meet our key agents and insureds over the course of the policy period and don't treat the marketing and placement process as a once a year approach. We promote the Team / Partnership approach in all we do throughout the course of the year. If we need to get on a plane and meet an insured, get involved with an inspection or connect with an underwriter in London, we do just that.
