Carrie Sheen joined the CRC team in February 2020 as a Senior Team Leader with the Atlanta office where she’s responsible for collaborating with team members to place challenging risks for a diverse clientele.
Carrie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan before beginning her insurance career as a Commercial Underwriter with Burns & Wilcox in 1998. Striving to provide the best possible expertise, Carrie went on to obtain her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation shortly after earning promotion to the role of Commercial Lines Manager in 2008. Continuing with her strong track record of taking on new challenges and responsibilities, Carrie took on the role of Director of Commercial Lines Underwriting for Burns & Wilcox in 2012 and successfully managed a team of 35 responsible for maintaining and growing a large book of commercial business.
Carrie truly enjoys working in the E&S sector and partnering with agents and team members to solve complex problems with collaboration and creativity. While her enthusiasm and dedication to getting the job done have earned Carrie multiple Outstanding Producer awards over her 20+ years in the industry, Carrie is most proud of raising her sweet daughter, Katelyn.
Carrie and Katelyn live in the Atlanta area with their three beloved cats, Lacey, Jinx, and Lilyrose. Carrie and Katelyn are passionate about helping care for rescue animals and spend time volunteering with local shelters. Outside the office, Carrie also enjoys spending time with family and friends – especially if it involves a road trip or travel. Carrie’s dream trip would include skiing in the Alps or touring Central and South America to see the beautiful birds and other exotic wildlife.
