Ian Kampfer

Ian is a Property Broker and Senior Vice President on CRC’s Team Stratis. He began his wholesale property career at American E&S after graduating from Syracuse University in 2005. In 2007, he joined Cooper Gay Risk Services as a producer, and through a series of acquisitions became a part of CRC in 2016. Ian manages a diverse portfolio of Property and Inland Marine placements across a wide range of industries and risk profiles. The breadth of his book of business has given him extensive expertise in structuring solutions for accounts of all sizes and complexities, from standard middle-market risks to highly specialized and challenging placements that utilize the global insurance market. Known for his responsiveness, pace, and accessibility, Ian operates with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to his retail partners. Driven, solutions-oriented, and relationship-focused, Ian is committed to helping his clients win — bringing creativity, market knowledge, and relentless advocacy to every submission.

Ian is originally from Long Island but now resides in Westchester County, NY with his wife, three kids, and two golden doodles. He loves golfing, traveling with his family, cooking, and watching both professional and his children’s sports teams.
