Matt Kreis is a Senior Vice President at CRC Group, where he serves as a wholesale property insurance broker. He is passionate about placing complex property risks into the global insurance market.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance in 2007, Matt joined Marsh, a global risk management firm, as a Risk Analyst and Client Advisor. During that time, he honed his expertise by earning certification as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). In 2010, he left Marsh to join insurance brokerage firm, McGriff, Seibels, and Williams, as an Account Executive. Matt was hired with CRC Group as an Assistant Vice President in 2013 and has been a vital part of CRC Group ever since. Matt loves being a producer on his team, and he keeps a competitive edge by monitoring industry trends, exploring new product and coverage offerings, and utilizing emerging technology to continuously improve team knowledge and performance.
He’s passionate about doing everything he can to ensure clients win and is known as a collaborative and responsive problem solver. His relentless work ethic and technical expertise make him an ideal partner, able to achieve the best possible outcome for each client. He’s also committed to finding new ways to give back to his local community. Previously, Matt invested 10 years leading a local men’s group at Friday Morning Men’s Fellowship and volunteered in the children’s environment at Buckhead Church with his wife, Tatum.
Matt enjoys spending time with Tatum, and two young sons, Marshall and Bo. They love playing sports, fishing, and spending time outdoors together.
