Michelle Backer is a Senior Vice President on the largest property brokerage team at CRC Group. She is responsible for managing and developing the team operations. She also plays a vital role in driving continued business growth by marketing new business and supporting account renewals.

Michelle joined the company in 2012 after graduating from St. John's University with an MBA in Risk Management and Insurance. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Business Administration from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2011.

Michelle is committed to continuous professional growth and does everything she can to support both colleagues and clients. Her IT talent, attention to detail, and organizational skills make Michelle a go-to resource able to troubleshoot, optimize innovative office technology, and organize and interpret industry data in ways that drive operational excellence and efficiency. Her relentless work ethic, commitment to exceptional customer service, and focus on meeting business goals has generated streamlined processes, technological advances, and a collaborative environment that supports whole-team success. She consistently goes the extra mile to provide the highest quality work and support systems that enable CRC to provide better, smarter, and faster insurance solutions.

Michelle currently lives in New Jersey. In her free time, she loves traveling to experience exciting, new destinations. Regardless of where she is, Michelle has always been an avid learner, willing to engage with diverse cultures, learn about new people, and share what she's learned to help the people around her.
