ABOUT JOSH

Josh Cohen is an Inside Broker and Vice President with CRC Group, responsible for managing and marketing the team’s new and renewal business and assisting clients in securing customized insurance coverage.

Josh graduated from the University of Vermont in 1998, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Before joining Swett and Crawford in 2012, Josh’s career included opening 2 businesses in the hospitality and adventure sports industries, as well as 6 years as a Real Estate Broker in the New York City Real Estate marketplace.

He was hired to join Emma’s team in 2012 and has been an important part of CRC for almost 7 years. Josh is known as a determined and collaborative ally, able to partner with teammates to tackle challenging situations and meet the needs of diverse clients. Josh’s analytical nature and attention to detail coupled with his creativity regarding insurance placements contribute to the team’s success by providing solutions for clients with catastrophe exposed accounts. He enjoys the collaborative nature of the team because ideas are openly diCRCssed and brainstormed.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling the world, rock climbing, coaching flying trapeze, and skiing. His favorite travel destinations are Paris and Colorado and in 2019 he plans to fit in as much skiing time as possible.
